Taconic Crest Trail

The Taconic Crest trail is 29 miles long but there are many access points and interesting destinations allowing for a variety of hikes.

The most accessable access point is Petersburg Pass on Route 2. From here you can go North to the "Snow Hole" (3 miles) or south to Berlin Mountain (2.7 miles), the Highest point in Rensselaer Country, elevation 2798.
