John Boyd Thacher State Park - North

North of the John Boyd Thacher State Park proper is an extensive network of trails and old roads open to the public. The area includes outlooks over the Helderberg Escarpment, an old quarry, and part of the Long Path.

There is a small lot off of Old Stage Road and a larger area at the end of Carrick Road.

Here's a direct link to the maps of the area. While the trails are well marked, there are many of them and navigating to a specific point may be problematic without being able to see the interconnections of trails.
